Jill is a professional stage actress and has been a working member of AEA for over twenty years. She has been a regular leading performer at ZACH Theatre over the last few decades playing title roles in such productions as Sunday in the Park with George, Mary Poppins, The King & I, In the Next Room (or the Vibrator Play), Ragtime, Xanadu, and The Drowsy Chaperone among many others. She has also performed with Austin Shakespeare, Penfold Theatre, Capital T Theatre, Mississippi's New Stage Theatre, the former Broadway Texas, Austin Musical Theatre, and as a guest artist at St. Edward's Mary Moody Northen Theatre. She has received multiple B. Iden Payne and Austin Critics Table awards for her work in comedies, dramas and musicals, including the John Bustin Award for Conspicuous Versatility.

In addition to her extensive stage credits, her film and television appearances include We Can Be Heroes, Bernie, Queen of the South, and the role of Belinda Miltenberger in NatGeo’s award winning series The Long Road Home. Jill is also a member of the Austin based folk band, The Magnolia Blue Trio which recently released their first single Better Without You, available on all of the major streaming platforms.
